Pupils train at the MFO for the International Mathematical Olympiad
The institute hosts the final week of the preparatory seminars. At the end of the week the German candidates for the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) will be selected.
Sixteen young people are in the final round of the selection competition. Six of them will be part of the team that travels to Japan and participates at the IMO. The German selection competition and the preparatory seminars are organized by Bildung & Begabung, the talent promotion center of the federal and state governments. MFO has been a partner for many years and is glad to support the young mathematicians by providing its infrastructure.
