Predatory Open Access Publishers

The following criteria can be indicators of the legitimacy of open access publishers and journals:

• The journal is listed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
• The publisher is a member of OASPA (Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association)
• The publisher is a member of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics)
